Emil grew up in NW Montana and first showed an interest in photography at a young age, learning how to photograph nature and landscapes with his dads Nikon film camera. From there he studied Motion Picture/Video Theatre along with Film and Digital Photography at MSU in Bozeman. From 2009-2014 he worked in Las Vegas as the head photographer for Chapel of the Flowers. In 2017 he moved back to Montana with his wife Rebecca, where he continues to specialize in portrait and wedding photography.
Emil's wife Rebecca was born and raised in Brunswick, GA and has been shooting with him professionally for the past seven years. Her work focuses on the details and candids throughout the shoot with strong journalistic compositions. She has previously shot alongside many upscale wedding photographers in Las Vegas, such as The Amberlight Collective, Mayhew Photo, and Meg Meyer Photography.
